Everyone wants to win, it’s human nature to want to be seen, to be a winner and that is all natural and well and good but when fighting another person it’s gets a little tricky. Seeing as how not everyone can win rules, and systems have been set up to keep things as fair as it can get. With that being said we have come up with two ways for you to do battle. It’s the only way we can think up that would best suit everyone without making waves bigger then they really are… So the following rules and battle systems will be used in a battle to ensure fairness in each battle.



TURN-BASE-LODGIC (TBL)

Is the way that most people are beginning to fight now-a-days. It's based on the logical scenarios between two or more characters, and the abilities, counters, and dodges are all stated as attempts and it is up to the other whether or not he has to take it. But, logic comes in when he has to take it because his char cannot get out of it without distorting a part of his body or by some weird degree of astro-physics. It's won when someone dies to the other, or beats the tar out of them to immobility and shows pity.

The only thing I would also include in TBL is something about special powers.. that you have to take into account terrain and your characters clothing. Also your characters figure.. like a three hundred pound buff guy isn't gonna be as flexible or quick as a smaller thinner guy. Or that the thinner guy will probably not be able to throw the larger.


TURN-BASE-OUTPOST (TBO)

This is basically something that has to do with out posting of course. The rules are fairly simple. With turn based outpost your opponent attacks you with a post or how ever many he can type at one time, or you do the same, but it has to be logical within the states of your own character. You have to state a dodge that is more posts or equal posts to the attack in question, otherwise it counts as a hit. Then you post your attack after you have dodged, and the process keeps going until someone has died from a fatal hit of not being able to post everything.


DICE ROLE PLAY

Role Playing with Dice isn't very hard. You don't really have to change the way you RP, you just have to learn when it is appropriate to roll the dice and when it is not. You shouldn't roll your dice while in Regular Chat rooms. It's seen as a disruption. However, some groups do allow you to roll dice while in the chat, just be sure you have a reason to roll them.

Since dice tend to be unpredictable when using them, you should modify how you make your post. this way, it leaves an open end that can suit what ever the dice might result in.

For example:

Bad Form
::He ran up to the Bartender and smashed the bottle over his head.::

This is called a forced hit, and shouldn't be done. Why? Well, simple, what if your dice you roll say you missed? Then you just made your self look silly.

Good Form

::He ran up to the Bartender and swung the bottle, hoping to smash it over his head.::

This leaves it open for play. If your dice say you missed, then you can assume you stumbled and missed, or that perhaps the bartender dodged you. This option of why you missed, should be left open to the person you were trying to hit. If your dice said you hit, it would be up to the bartender to post his reaction to getting a bottle smashed over his head.


Above, I mentioned leaving the play open. This is common courtesy to your fellow player. It's hard to RP smoothly when you post your attack, the roll, and then the reaction to that attack. You should post your attack, your roll, and leave it to the person you attacked to post the reaction. This is especially true for those misses I mentioned. This way, the person you attacked has the option of Countering, Dodging, or watching you fall, or what ever the case may be depending on the fashion of the attack.

If you post that you run up try to smash a bottle over his head and run back, that doesn't leave the guy a chance to hit you back or to grab you or something else. As I said, it's just common gaming courtesy to allow the reaction of your action rest on your opponent.

You can find your dice roller in the menu when opening a new threat. You will see a picture of a dice. All you have to do it click it after you post for you one hit. If it’s over three you got a hit in. three and under you missed your hit. Fair and simple.




MUN NOTES

With all that being said each fight will be watched, each fight will be judged to make sure fairness is kept in each battle.
